- What happens after the beta ends?
- Free stays free. The basic landing page never gets paywalled. Paid tiers (Solo, Indie) unlock at the prices we announce before the public launch.
- Can I switch tiers later?
- Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you downgrade and lose access to a feature (for example, dropping from Indie to Solo with multiple podcasts), the unselected shows enter a read-only state. They stay live for listeners, you just can't edit them until you upgrade or remove them.
- Are AI tools really free during beta?
- Yes. AI summaries and tag suggestions are powered by Claude (Anthropic) and we pay per use, but during beta they're open to all signed-in users. The Solo tier will gate them when paid plans launch.
- Will my analytics data carry over when I upgrade?
- Yes. We retain 30 days of analytics for Free tier accounts, so if you upgrade to Solo within that window you'll see your existing data appear in the dashboard. Older data isn't recoverable, so start the Solo trial sooner if history matters.
- Do you offer custom domains?
- Yes. It's an add-on available on any paid tier. Point yourshow.com (or any subdomain) at PodSocial and your page lives there with no PodSocial branding in the URL.
- I'm not sure which tier I need.
- Start free. If you find yourself wanting AI summaries, full analytics, or anything else from the paid tiers, you can upgrade in 30 seconds. Free isn't a trap, it's a real plan.
